Ken Haider, All Smiles, Wins Event 4 at MPC
Ken Haider of Hugo, MN was all smiles during the final table of event 4 at the Midwest Poker Classic on Friday night, and those smiles turned to pure elation when he clinched a heads-up victory over Ex Xiong to take home the $5,995 first place prize.
The $200 buy-in event drew 116 entrants — the largest field so far of the MPC. Scott Heiligman made his second final table in two nights, but despite playing solid poker he busted in fifth place… for the second night in a row.
