Leshovsky outlasts 3 Putts in MPC Main Event

Matt “Magic” Leshovsky from Elk River, MN took home nearly $40,000 after beating 3-Putts heads-up in the Midwest Poker Classic Main Event on Monday evening.

3-Putts, who at one point held a 4-to-1 chip lead over Leshovsky heads-up, has now finished runner-up in the State Poker Championship, the Twin Cities Poker Open, and the MPC Main Event. A sick stretch of poker, indeed, but also bittersweet.
