		<description>I understand your thought process and we have thrown it around.  The issue is that the HPT is now a National Tour brand with a national player base.  Much like if the WPT or the NAPT rolled into town, we wouldn&#039;t include that as POY either.  

We tend to think of the HPT as local because they started in or around Minnesota but they have now branded themselves a national tour and they even state that specifically on their site in the &quot;About HPT&quot; page.  Although we won&#039;t be awarding POY points for HPT events we definitely support the HPT as they have done great things for poker in this area.  I personally have enjoyed some great success in HPT events and enjoy playing in that atmosphere.</description>

More than likely these will be the second and third largest tournaments (both size and prize pools) in Minnesota in 2010 behind Canterbury&#039;s Fall Classic.  A true POY race should include all big tournaments in Minnesota.</description>
