Hanging out with the River Rat League
In the midst of our grass roots MSPT promotional blitz, Bryan and I made a trip to Verndale, MN on Sunday to hang out with the River Rat Poker League — a home game that draws from a player base of over 115 people.
Look for an “Underground Rounders” feature about the River Rat League in the May issue of Minnesota Poker Magazine.
The River Rat league plays primarily for seats into Heartland Poker Tour events and, as of a couple months ago, Minnesota State Poker Tour seats. They also award cash prizes.
Bryan and I also gave away a free $250 MSPT seat at Running Aces on Saturday, and will give another one away during the Monday night free roll tournament at around 6:00 p.m.
Until then, here is a photo gallery from our day up in Verndale:

We had a great time. You guys run a fantastic tournament and Mike has a sweet place. Thanks again for the invite, it was well worth the drive. We definitely would love to get up there again soon.
