MN Poker League Players Cash Big
In Mahnomen, a couple weeks back the Heartland Poker Tour made a stop at Shooting Star Casino. Nine of the 30 players that made it into the cash were players who have played or are currently playing in the Minnesota Poker League/Free Poker Network. Altogether the nine players that cashed brought home a total of $20,866.
Brian Breidenbach just missed making the TV table by finishing in seventh place. Brian is from East Grand Forks and plays at the East Grand Forks VFW. Brian brought home $6,476.
Cashing in 9th place for $4,624 was Brad Donabauer. Brad is from Moorhead and can be seen playing at Gio’s and Courtney’s Comedy Club.
Also playing out of the East Grand Forks VFW was 14th place finisher Ian Noack and 17th place finisher James Pahlen. Ian cashed for $2,035 and James cashed for $1,572.
Troy Hagen finished in 15th place taking home $1,850 for his efforts. Troy is from Fargo and plays at the Moorhead VFW.

Brian Raftevold from Lake Park, MN finished in 26th place for $1,017. Brian has played at the Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Cormorant.
Finally we come to two of our featured players who finished in 27th and 30th respectfully. They are Curtis Biloki and Mark Wadekamper. This was the second time Curtis has cashed in the HPT and it was Mark’s third time cashing in an HPT event. Mark was also one of our previous grand prize winners in our Party at the Palms promotion. Both players took home $1,017. Curtis is from Fargo, ND and plays at the Windbreak Saloon while Mark is from Lonsdale, MN and plays at Dawn’s Corner Bar, Flicek’s, Boxer’s, and Bullheads.
The league gave away 3 qualifier seats but unfortunately none of those players were able to cash. They were Roxanne Miller from Fargo taking down the Knickerbocker Freeroll, Mark Ziegelmann in Grand Forks, and Josh Vorwerk from Fargo taking down the freeroll at the ND State championship.
