After nearly two hours of three-handed play, Johnny Alexander shoved A4 into Joe Matheson’s KK. The board brought no help, and Alexander busted in 3rd place.

2:54 pm Update: We’re in the money. Mario Hudson eliminated Darren Childs in 28th place to burst the bubble. With the blinds at $3K-$6K, Childs raised to $21K pre-flop with 99, Hudson re-raised all-in for $93K, Childs had $92,500 total and called. The flop was A-A-6. The turn and river were blanks to end Childs’ run.
2:17 pm Update: 31 players remain, things have really tightened up as we near the bubble. Carlton still rolling along and playing aggressively. He is chip leader with $305,000. There is roughly $2.7 million chips in play.
12:55 pm Update: 37 players remain. ”Magic” Leshovsky just eliminated 3-Putts. Leshovsky had AQ suited in the SB and raised 3-Putts all-in as he was short-stacked. Putts, with QJ, flopped and open ended straight draw but failed to connect.
12:25 pm Update: Everett Carlton just took out MSPT Tour Launch Champion John Dragich, Carlton called from the small blind with A9 after Dragich shoved all-in with 55, Carlton flopped an A and it held. Carlton still leading and pulling away from the pack with now over $200,000. Big names still remain though: 3 Putts, “Magic” Leshovsky, “DQ” Dan Hendrickson and son Darrin, Tim Votava, Tony Hartmann, Mario Hudson, MNPokerMag’s Phil Mackey and many more. 42 players remain.
