Bill Criego: Back-to-Back at weekly Wednesday

Bill Criego has done the unlikely over the last week and a half by winning consecutive Wednesday evening tournaments at Canterbury Park.  The Wednesday tourney is a $235 buy-in and starts at 6:30PM each week.  Players start with 12,000 tournament chips before add-on with 30-minute levels.

Criego achieved the feat by outlasting some deep fields.  On July 27, there were 85 entrants and Criego took it down for $4,930.  One week later, Criego did it again.  This time outlasting a 102-player field earning $5,916.  $10,846 is a nice one-week run.

Criego clearly knows how to close when the situation arises.  He now has 5 Player of the Year cashes, 3 of which are 1st place finishes.
