2 MNs finish Top 10 at FPN Nationals, ND’s Dosch claims $10K Poker Pro Contract

Back on October 30th the Free Poker Network’s Minnesota “Poker Pro” State Championship was held at Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, MN.  A field of 274 players qualified to participate to be crowned State Champ and Kari Davis outlasted them all to be the first female champion.  http://www.mnpokermag.com/2011/10/30/keri-davis-is-fpn-minnesota-state-champion/

The final 13 players all got the opportunity to play in the exclusive National Championship in Las Vegas which took place yesterday against other FPN players across the country.  They were competing for 10 seats to the Bellagio 5 Diamond Classic.  The final six would also receive an airfare/hotel package to Harrah’s on the strip in Las Vegas.  The National Champion yesterday won a $10,000 Poker Pro contract which includes 5 separate tournament buy-ins throughout the year.

Brandon Dosch (pictured) of Fargo (plays at The Bowler) won the grand prize at the FPN Poker Pro National Final. Brandon outlasted a tough field of 75 qualifiers from around the country. For his accomplishment, Brandon has earned several buy-ins in 2012 and the first challenge is playing today’s $1,000 buy-in event at the Bellagio in the Five Diamond Classic.

Matt Newman and Jennifer Booth of Minnesota both finished in the Top 10 earning a $1,000 seat.  The Top 10 listed below:
