SPC Day 1 Update: Kahnke and Madison Victorious

Day 1 of the SPC concluded with a $65 Spring Chicken (49 yrs or younger) event at 6:00PM. Aaron Madison of parts unknown earned the win over a 74-player field, he took home $1,321.

In a fun twist, the winner of the Spring Chicken event (Aaron Madison) will play the winner of the Old Turkey event (Rose Kahnke) heads up for a $1,100 Main Event seat. The time for this heads-up battle is still TBD.

The first event of the 2012 Spring Poker Classic at Running Aces Harness Park is in the books and Rose Kahnke of Dayton, MN took down the $65 Old Turkey (50 yrs or older) Tournament. She outlasted a 58-player field to earn $1,062.
