Kou Vang Wins SPC Event #3….and #4!
Kou Vang swept the Spring Poker Classic double header yesterday at Running Aces by winning the Noon Event #3 and the 6PM Event #4!
Event #3 at Noon was a $65 Freezeout. Vang outlasted a 116-player field to earn $1,800 and an $1,100 Main Event seat.
That tournament got over about 5:30PM. Vang took a quick break and entered the $230 buy-in bounty tournament at 6PM ($100 to prize pool, $100 for each bounty). That event drew 127 entrants and Vang did it again! This time Vang won over $4K and another $1,100 Main Event seat. Kou also collected 19 bounties for an additional $1,900. That puts Vang’s take for the day at over $10K!
Today at Running Aces there will be a $500 event at Noon with a $240 Main Event qualifier at 6PM.
