Player of the Year Update

Chris Wallace Canterbury WinWe’re just 9 days into the new season, the excitement is in the air as every poker player in the state has a fresh start to becoming the next MNPokerMag Player of the Year!

Phil Gulden is off to the quickest start, already accumulating 2 cashes and 19.5 pts. MSPT’s Chris “Fox” Wallace (pictured) earned a win last night to place him 2nd overall.

2012 POY Erick Wright is on the board with a win at the Optimum tourney last Sunday and a win at Grand Casino Mille Lacs over the weekend (though Grand Casino has not yet submitted official results).

Gonna be a fun year!
