Running Aces draws 539 players for $1,000 Freeroll

Running Aces Harness Park launched a $1,000 freeroll in March and last night drew an astonishing 539 players.  “Players were lined up out the door.” Tournament Director Manessah Kunkel stated.

Dan Dow continued his sizzling start to the 2010 poker season by winning his second Treasure Island “Island Tournament” in a month. Dow outlasted 53 other players for a $13,800 payday in the $1k buy-in event.

MN Poker League awards seven Grand Prizes at Shooting Star

For those of you pining for another shot at a Minnesota State Poker Tour title, the upcoming Running Aces MSPT schedule has officially been released.

The qualifier schedule is very similar to the Grand Casino Mille Lacs schedule, but a Wednesday evening $250 qualifier has been added to give players one extra shot.

Troy Graphenteen, known as “stringbend” and “stringbendr” online, recently accomplished a pretty rare feat, scoring two $10,000+ multi-table tournament cashes in one day.
