The Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) is a series of deep-stack Texas Hold’em tournaments at various casinos throughout the midwest.
The MSPT launched in December, 2009 at Canterbury Park, with 20-year-old John Dragich winning $34,000.
In 2010, six events were held at Grand Casino Mille Lacs, Running Aces Harness Park, Northern Lights Casino, Jackpot Junction Casino, Grand Casino Hinckley and Canterbury Park.

From diamond bracelets and deep-stack structures to the affordable buy-ins (qualify for as little as $60) and classy hosting sites, the MSPT is designed to cater directly to poker players — players who wish for blind structures that allow for patient play without the fear of blinding out.
The MSPT serves these players proudly and adds new levels of intrigue and prestige to poker in the midwest — one of the most underrated poker hotbeds in the country.
